Nancy Blaisdell

I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas A&M University at Kingsville, Texas. My major was voice and I my minor was piano and organ. I have been active in church music for all of my life.

I grew up as the youngest of 5 children in a music loving family in Utopia, Texas. I was married for 56+ years to the love of my life-Lytle Blaisdell. Lytle pastored several churches in Texas and Washington. I am blessed to have 5 children, their spouses and 7 grandchildren plus 2 of their spouses.

Work Experience

  • Teaching piano, voice, and organ private lessons
  • Teaching organ classes
  • Selling Tupperware for 30 years
  • Choir director, pianist, and organist in several different churches

  • Chorus member with Tacoma Opera (30 years), Seattle Opera, Bellevue Opera, Lyric Opera Northwest, and Messiah with Federal Way Symphony
  • Solo and ensemble performances in a number of churches and organizations.
